Boundary County Skatepark Alliance is a volunteer group raising funds for Boundary County Parks and Recreation. Our goal is to build a safe, well-lit, all-wheeled skatepark that is inclusive and accessible to everyone.
Boundary County Skatepark Alliance was formed in April of 2022. We are a motivated group of volunteers full of excitement and ready to give back to our community. We sponsor free events at the skatepark to bring people together and share this excitement.
It was such a wonderful time seeing families in lawn chairs, visiting, and watching skaters enjoying themselves. It feels like home. Last year, we celebrated Go Skating Day with a skate jam, including a volunteer D.J. and skate contests. The Skate and Music showcase was well attended we had some great music donated by King Friday.
Skateboards and BMX bikes joined us in the fair parade, and we picked up trash along the route. We celebrated Halloween together in the park with carnival games, free homemade Bison Chili, and raffles. The summer of 2023 will see us sponsoring even more great events at the skatepark and Parks and Recreation Pavilion.
The Boundary County Skatepark Alliance is fully dedicated to this community. Our current skatepark is inadequate and needs to be replaced. We aim to replace a 2000 sq ft park with a 10,000 sq ft park. This is a huge project, but we know we can make it happen. We need your help and greatly appreciate any donation you can make.
You can join the Boundary County Skatepark Alliance to help us achieve our goals. Whether you provide financial support, volunteer at our events or help spread the word about our efforts, together, we can make big things happen.
